        Rooms: When I stayed a few years ago pre Covid they were great value, clean and comfortable rooms. Food & drinks: This restaurant is a regular favourite when visiting family in the area. Today, David looked after us. He was courteous, efficient and friendly. He made what looked like a ropey start (short staffed?) a distant memory. A thoroughly enjoyable Sunday Carvery meal. Will carry on visiting.

        Perfect visit. My only petty gripe is with small coffee cups all hotels provide, please consider a proper mug. But that is irrelevant to my lovely stay Rooms: Perfectly comfortable and restful. Water was hot enough for a bath and a shower, which had good pressure.
