Had really bad problems with my shoulder through going to the gym. Gavin gave me a full assessment and exercises to suit my needs. After a few weeks my shoulder was back in working order. Gavin also gave me an explanation as to why my shoulder was damaged and showed me how to prevent it in the future.

I went to Gavin over a few weeks for a shoulder injury from weightlifting that's bothered my for just over a year. he did an assessment and knew what it was right away. It only took a couple of massage sessions and gave me exercises to work on and we went into the gym and Gavin showed me and explained very thoroughly how my shoulder position and rotor cuff wasn't strong so was causing my pain. He also gave me a shoulder warmup to make sure it doesn't come back i've not had any pain since, can't recommend him enough very knowledgeable and explained it all in a simple way. I'll use him in the future

I went to see Gavin for a neck and shoulder massage due to tension I built up in my shoulders from work. He managed to get rid of the tension and gave me stretches to do at work when it got bad. I would recommmend Gavin and will use him in the future if I need to again

I made an appointment with Gavin after I was involved in a car accident and was having trouble walking, from bruising and swelling from my leg. He was very flexible with when he could fit me in and that he could do a home visit if that suited me better, however I chose to meet at the sports centre as I was in that area at the time of the appointment. Firstly he asked questions relating to the injury and previous history (if I had previously had any fractures etc) to get a better understanding of the injury. He then assessed my walking and where the pain was coming from. After this he did some light stretches with my leg on the bed to see what my range of movement was, and then started the massage, the bruising and swelling I had was very sensitive, however he started off gently and worked up to a deeper massage which I became used to from building up gently so it wasn't very sore. He then tried more stretches with my leg on and off the bed, and then after some stretching I was able to get my foot flat on the ground which I hadn't been able to do since the accident, because of the swelling in my leg making my calf feel tight and was stopping me from putting my heel flat on the ground. After the stretches i was able to walk around the room as I would have normally before the accident. Gavin then put some tape round my ankle and foot to support my heel and ankle when walking for the next days, as well as using some kinesis tape (I believe it was called) to move the fluid and swelling away from the leg, which after a few days I found worked really well. I felt Gavin was very professional and took into account my individual needs, and helped to find a solution to my problem. I would strongly recommend Gavin, and would be happy to use him again in the future should I require.
