The Groom Room Kilmarnock

Have tried twice in 2 weeks to make an appointment by leaving contact details,but got no reply unfortunately.

Barney went for his first groom. He got his nails clipped, body wash and dry. Friendly staff, definitely highly recommend.

Booked pup's first groom and went in to pay deposit. Treated like an inconvenience the moment my hand twisted the door knob. Guy was so unbelievably rude. Lectured me on how I should have had my puppy in sooner and that I'd probably ruined his coat by bathing him myself! (I didn't have the dog with me. This was a complete presumption). Won't go into the full interaction, but I left absolutely gobsmacked. I only nipped in to pay a deposit. I was suddenly nervous about taking my dog there, especially when I saw how another dog was being treated. He could easily have let the dog stand on the floor, instead chose to hold the poor dog uncomfortably under his arm. Each time the dog struggled, he pulled it closer abruptly. A very concerning way to treat a dog in front of another customer... what goes on when no one is there. I ultimately cancelled this appointment and went on to find a different groomer, who funnily enough commented on the lovely condition of his coat. Will NEVER step foot in this place again and I am so relieved I didn't leave my boy in their hands.
