Don't know if it was just my bad luck with the CPN I spoke to or if this is the level of help you can expect from the Community team but I was made to feel like I was wasting her (The Cpn) time and shouldn't be bothering her. The communication was non existent, for example I was told by my gp to expect a phone call to arrange a second appointment with the Community team. This phone call never came and when I phoned to ask what was going on I spoke to my Cpn again who told me it had been cancelled and that I didn't have a serious and enduring mental illness. I ended up being off my work for 6 months and to be treated like this by the supposed professionals really didn't help. I'm back at work now but no thanks to the Community team and especially no thanks to the Cpn I had the misfortune to deal with. Someone like this really shouldn't be working with vulnerable people who are at their lowest.
