Love it here! Always a good vibe and while it doesn't have some of the extras that other 'chain store' type gyms have, it has everything you need to get a good workout in the bag. Great value for money! Well done to Paul and the team for running a sweet gym!

Avoid this place! - i had a really bad personal experience here for lots of reasons but mainly due to their appointed trainer Aaron Baird - paid 500 in advance for for a block of sessions and with several hours training time still owing to me, he tells the gym staff that I owe HIM money, cuts off all communication - and yet the gym say they have no records and unwilling to assist. the gym is supposed to get 5 every time he trained me there but they have no records of payments - how do they declare their earning to the hmrc if they dont keep records?. luckily i do keep records but a pity i have to goto a lawyer to sort it out. This is a trainer that iv paid over 3k to and this is how he thanks me!. and The Bunker gym is simply not interested. Aside from that - got told off by gym staff for using my phone cam in the gym - what are they worried about? - any gym in the world people are using their phones!. We just had the hottest summer for years and they dont even have a shower!. The toilet cubicle door never locked and the toilet flush was broken. Was told by their trainer Aaron to park in the church car park, i got told off by the church staff and the gym trainers words were - ignore the old tadgers!. The church have put a barrier up now because their own people couldnt park in Their Own carpark because of the gym folks using it. The music system is the kind of tiny speaker folks have under the tv at home and everytime some1 gets a text the tunes stop and it beeps - so amateur. The place is tiny - have to step over equipment to move around, and having to wait for equipment as only 1 of each piece esp when paying for trainers time just isnt on. Theres also a bad smell because theres a kitchen attached to it - that smell when you 1st open a packet of chicken - it lingers through the building - not really what you want to smell when you go to train. To their credit, they did fix the flimsy treadmill ( which you can buy in Argos! ) that shook and rattled so much my water holder fell out when i used it. For the 20 they charge with no parking, no showers, very limited equipment theres way better places to go in Kilmarnock area - Avoid avoid avoid and go elsewhere and never pay their trainer Aaron Baird upfront for pt sessions.
