I have been with this practise for 25 years but today I made the decision to change vets. Since being taken over by a large company it has changed drastically & like most big firms, it is now all about the money! Out of hours has changed & now, in an emergency, it is dealt with in Aberdeen, a 50 mile trip at a stressful time is the last thing you want to deal with. Even getting prescription worm tablets is a carry on. After previously getting these by pre ordering, today I was told that I have to take 2 of my cats to be seen before they can get the tablets as they haven't been seen by a vet for over a year! The quality of service that was provided before these changes was exceptional and I had nothing but praise, respect and admiration for the vets. Since retirements and vets moving on I no longer have the same faith in this practise.....so it is time for me to move.

My doggy died last month and the vet and staff were really lovely

Fabulous practise.. in this day and age of vets being more business than animal empathy...Seafield have been fabulous with both my small animals and my equines..accommodating and professional at all times..
