Hillhead Hideaways

My wife and i have just spent the weekend at Hillhead Hideaways.We loved it.Theres everything in the pods that you can ever need and the welcome pack had bacon , bread , milk , butter , orange juice as well as the usual stuff like T bags , sugar etc which was a great touch. We loved the location , so quiet and great views .Only the sheep and the massive Bull can be heard for miles The hosts answered any questions we had and We would 100% stay here again .

Just home from a fabulous trip to this beautiful Hideaway. We are a very busy, hectic family of four who were in much need of quality, family, chill time. I could not have asked for anything better. The pods are immaculate and have everything you need, every little detail has been thought of. The welcome breakfast hamper is a lovely touch and the bbq pack so thoughtfully put together. The 3 pods are just amazing and give you space for a family of four to enjoy. You have privacy and feel like you are the only people around. We loved dinner in the bbq pod, all sitting round the table. The hot tub was the perfect place to chill with spectacular views over the rolling countryside We couldn't have asked for any better. We met Vicky doing her daily hot tub checks and she welcomed us down to the farm. My six year old daughter was delighted, couldn't thank Vicky enough for taking the time out of her busy day to explain the workings of the farm and introducing us to the animals. Katie was beside herself with a cuddle from a lamb. My little budding Dr Dolittle Thank you again Vicky, was lovely to meet you and Alexander. We have all came home very relaxed and recharged and can not wait to book another trip to this beautiful hidden hideaway. Hillhead Hideaways was fantastic and a cant miss place to stay! I cannot say enough great things. The owners provided an easy check-in/check-out and all the necessesities one would want. Our stay really felt like home away from home. The cherry on top was the hot tub with amazing views of Scotland. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the highlands. They partner with a local farm thay provided the best chicken amd steak to cook at the pod my family has ever had. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay!

Everything at Hillhead is perfect... They are the best lodges we have ever visited and would highly recommend to anyone. The lodge itself was spotless and has everything you need....the additional touches such as bread, milk, butter, jam, bacon, eggs, and orange juice just make it even more special. The BBQ house and indoor hot tub is ideal for the Scottish weather....ordering the BBQ pack is also a must! An all-around beautifully run family business which we can not fault in any way and we will definitely be back

Hillhead hideaway is a hidden gem! We visited for only one night but it was perfect in every way and a much needed getaway. Pods were spotless with all the amenities you would require. The views were spectacular especially at sunset while lazing in the undercover hot tub. BBQ hut was an added bonus, great to get everyone involved in the cooking during dinner followed by everyone toasting marshmallows above the charcoals. Can thoroughly recommend this place and we will certainly be visiting again in the near future.
