Lovely place for walking the dogs. Lots of paths and tracks so you can walk for as long or as short as you like. The landscape is lovely, being on the edge of Glennifer and you can find yourself walking through a woods at one moment and across a meadow the next. Because some of the paths are gravel you don't have to get covered in mud on a wet day - an absolute bonus!

The Windyhill trails is part of the local woodland in the hills of Johnstone. Most are easy trails for the average person but some might not be suitable for prams or wheelchairs. Some great views over the hills to Paisley and beyond and a nice place just to enjoy peace and quiet. There is a small car park and it's possible to bike some of the trails.
