Without a doubt the worst doctors surgery I have ever visited...Disgraceful and dangerous issues throughout...people are dying because of this horrible place...needs pulled down

They can be very selective should they actually wish to test you or refer you on if needed, change should always be for the better but, if ordering a prescription it can be very tricky they've introduced a stupid answer phone and call back system which I believe this answer phone call back system will be causing the surgery a backlog as there must be many many people a day having to use this surley speaking to someone and them dealing with it straight away would be much better for both parties, they're always running behind time isn't good if you have other things to do and if you you have mental health issues it can lead to anxiety getting worse whilst you are waiting. But yet they have the cheek to have a sign up saying you only have 10 minutes for your appointment they are the ones running behind time practically ALL OF THE TIME many of the staff can be rude especially some of the reception staff, saving money is this surgery middle name so wouldn't register here if you want your medication to be cut they don't seem to treat you as an individual as nhs guidelines state. They're also an intercom entry system which is simply too high for certain patience to use.

I've been using Townhead Surgery since I was a teenager, and now I'm using it for my own child many years later. The service has always been quick, efficient and the staff have always been helpful. They serve a large area, and yet I've never had any issues getting through to them on the phones or booking appointments. Highly recommended.
