Having read some other reviews, I'll get the preemptive strike in early. This is not a "fake" review. It is my honest assessment of the service at this outlet, albeit I would award zero stars if it were possible. I also have better things to do with my time, but writing a review to warn others of poor service is worth the 5 minutes it takes to draft a quick review. So this morning, I took 3 boxes along to the shop to return kegs to "Perfect Draft". Anne's Stores is listed as a "Collect+" drop off/pick up point and will obviously be paid by Yodel and/or other couriers for this service. Now these boxes are not huge by any means. They measured about 30cm x 30cm x 60cm. They are not "TV sized" boxes like someone was accused of in a previous reply to a negative review. No sooner had I placed them on the floor, I was asked "Return?" to which I replied that it was. The next words were "No... don't accept them".. "Shop too small". Now, if the shop is "too small", why offer this service. If Yodel rock up with a delivery to the "Collect+" location and the package is "too big", would Anne's Store turn it away leaving the customer questioning where their item is? In short, Anne's Stores are happy to take the money from courier companies for offering the Collect+ service, but not quite so keen on actually honoring the obligation. I'll be reaching out to Yodel to inform them of the issue that I encountered this morning and suggest to them that perhaps Anne's Store is not an appropriate brand ambassador for them. I'll gladly steer clear of Anne's Stores in future and would urge others to do the same.
