The setting for the course is magical. A true test should you be playing from the main tees with exceptional views. A warm welcome from all staff. The greens were slow recently having been sanded. It is March after all! Would I come again in March? No. The winter tees made the course significantly shorter and meant hitting into fairways from odd angles. Didn't see the true layout from the architect because of this. Tee boxes and paths from boxes were makeshift and in poor condition. Playing off fairway mats which didn't bother me but may bother you. On return to the clubhouse discovered that it is a club of inequality. No female members allowed! Hence the ladies room is just for green fees and is small, damp but adequate. No ladies tees either but I didn't notice this as I usually play off the yellows. Overall its a 3. Great 18 holes in a wonderful setting if you can afford the summer rate to play the full course.
