Loudoun Castle

I wasn't to sure what to expect on this visit as I have heard the castle is quite unstable now. We managed to gain access to the castle grounds through a road that leads onto a closed through road. This way in was about a 10 minute walk from the castle its self but I'm sure there are quicker ways to get there. The castle is all fenced off but we managed to find a way through the fence on the left hand side near the back of the castle. There are signs letting you know the castle is unstable and dangerous so it is advised you do not go in and walk around but it is your call. You can gain access to the theme park area via climbing over a fence near the bridge but there are cameras around so I would make your visit brief. The castle its self is in a bad way unfortunately and all over grown but still a nice place to walk about. Hopefully in the future someone can invest money into this place so the public can visit without having to sneak around.
