Bad Service unfriendly service

Food is good (4.5/5). But unfortunately, for me customer service and BASIC manners are above food quality. Plain and simple , the manager , is racist. I wish Ive had read the reviews before going to this restaurant. I cant believe how many people complained in here about the manager being racist . We were visiting Scotland for the first time from Qatar. Manager comments 1. my friend do you understand English even though I was the one who was struggling with his English 2. Commented us because we were holding the menus incorrectly as if we are cave people :) 3. First thing said once we entered guys I dont have food for you guys cooked in Halal. Excuse me ? Who said we want halal in the first place ? You just welcome us and set us on a table we have basic intelligence at-least to know which restaurant we want to eat in. We celebrated my mother's 72nd birthday here last night. The manager was very welcoming, friendly and great with my mother. The food was delicious, I had the moussaka but everyone else said their food was also great. Would definitely recommend and will come back again.
