We found John and Terry at Aye Tours by chance when a tour we had booked canceled at the last minute, the happiest cancellation ever. We had a much better private tour with John to Skye and Quiraing. John was knowledgeable about history, passionate about the Highlands, and miraculously produced perfect weather. Terry steered us to a great local meat pie store (grazie days) in an out of the way spot in Inverness. She and John are terrific tour hosts. Well be back.

Incredible experience! John is amazing and helped us plan a custom Speyside whisky tasting day. His knowledge of Scottish history, pop culture, and hysterical sense of humor made for the perfect tour guide. We made it to all scheduled stops on time and were treated with samples along the way. We learned so much and had a blast. If youre looking for any variety of tour in Scotland you want John as your guide!

I cannot say enough about John and this tour. I have been to many places and have been on many tours, and this was by far my favorite. I knew I wanted to explore the highlands but I didn't want to do a big-bus type of deal. I found John's company and contacted them. His team helped me tremendously in booking the dates and even provided some suggestions on how to easily get to Inverness. The tour itself was stunning, and the Isle of Skye is a wonder. John kept us laughing all day and shared with us some old stories and interesting bits of history along the way. We were on a bit of a time crunch so he customized it to fit our schedule. My husband and I did not have northern Scotland on our schedule, and we took a huge detour from our plans just to go on this tour. It was well worth it. We plan on returning sometime in the near future to join him on some of the other tours he offers. I recommend this tour to anyone who loves good company and unbeatable sights!

I booked two private tours in March 2022; the Culloden, Loch Ness & More, and the Magical Isle of Skye. John was an amazing, professional, knowledgeable, and funny guide into Scotland and it's history. I learned so much about the area's history and events that shaped Scotland. I especially liked the flexibility of a private tour and being able to make changes to the itinerary. Teri was professional, responsive, and flexible in answering questions and scheduling the tours. I would recommend these tours to my family and friends and anyone who plans to visit northern Scotland.
