Timberbush Tours Inverness

Overall a good experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, the coach was clean and comfortable, and the route and stops are well-planned. The road to one destination was closed for construction, and the driver was able to quickly come up with a plan B so we didn't lose out on a full day's experiences. My only caveat is that the guides don't seem to be fact-checked on their explanations and tour patter. Several things ours said were not true as found through a quick Google. None of these errors were harmful, but still, inaccuracies. I would recommend this company but keep in mind you might want to fact-check on your own.

We had a great tour with our guide Luke Skywalker. We did the Loch Ness, Eilean Donan Castle, and Isle of Skye tour. Normally I dont like organized guided tours but Luke made it fun and really personalized the experience. He went out of his way to take pictures with his drone (and with passengers cameras) and stop at unique and interesting places/sights. He has curated a really cool playlist of songs that go really well with the sights and has them timed so that the big parts of the songs match to big sights as well as chill songs for chill views. I highly recommend both Tumberbush and Luke.

We had our tour yesterday with our wonderful guide Alex, also known as a walking Wikipedia. The tour was amazing, the knowledge Alex has about everything and anything is amazing. He tells stories like a history teacher you favoured in class with a pinch of humor. The places he stopped at were breathtaking, the weather could not have been more wonderful. I advise Timberbush tours to anyone reading this review and if possible, ask for a tour with Alex. He will be worth your while. He even takes a picture of you and offers 2 pictures for the price of one ;). (Small joke). Thank you for the most wonderful day Alex. Love from the Van Dam Family.

It was a wonderful trip to Glenfinnan with our guide Malcom. The timing was well managed to see the Harry Potter train and we could track its rail course ,on the road for some time. The steam engine with its white smoke was excellent and a great memory to cherish.Also Malcom enlightened us with the beautiful Scottish history throughout the journey and played very good Gaelic songs. The toilet breaks were adequate.Thank you timberbush.

The tour was great! Andy S was very knowledgeable about Loch Ness and the surrounding areas and my friend and I had a great time exploring. We stopped at so many places and I was able to learn so much about the history of the Loch. We also got to learn about Andys personal history with the area, including his one experiences with ghosts the lake. We had enough time to take a boat tour on the loch in Fort Augustus. There was even an optional hike we could take to see 7 lochs at once and the view was stunning. I cannot recommend this tour enough, my friend and I looked at so many before coming here and Im so glad we landed on this one and I will definitely be booking with Andy S and Timberbush Tours the next time Im traveling in Inverness
