Terrible advice and service. I went for my first passport after receiving my uk citizenship. I paid 16 for a service to send my documents off and help with the completion of my form. On my first visit they charged me 16 and only advised I should change 1 small mistake on my form then take form back with same documents. I did this the on my second visit with my now corrected form and saw documentsI saw a different person. They then told me there was a second mistake. I changed this then on my 3rd visit I saw a different person again and they then informed me that my documents were incorrect I needed my grandparents wedding certificate ! My husband had already checked government website for required documents so I was sure I didnt need this but as I had paid 16 for advice I thought post office knew better. As I could not get my grandparents marriage certificate this caused me some frustration as I thought I would not be able to get it ( they were married in Vietnam over 60 years ago). My husband checked government website again and we went to another post office with the same documents and sent them by recorded mail only this time. My passport was approved Im highlighting this as it shows some staff do not understand the requirements for obtaining a passport and as I had been charged 16 for a service that never gave the correct information I feel a bit frustrated.

Worst post office ever. Some of the staff used to be lovely but some of them now are so rude and you can tell they do not care to help customers. They make you feel like you are a burden to wanting assistance. They are ridiculously rude and these are some of the staff members in charge like the manager who should know better. If the manager is treating customers awfully you can bet their staff is also. Witnessed them being rude to customers before me. You can tell they dont want to be there and decide to make the customer pay for that. Myself and a few locals have all said same, their attitude needs to change and they need to realise they are being paid to work. Complaints are going to be made to Royal Mail senior staff if continues. Such a slow service and when you finally get served you get treated like dirt. Its happened to so many people I know that I would avoid this post office at Queensgate, Inverness if I was you and go to another one where the staff are lovely (inshes for example). Awful. We would score it zero stars if we could. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Passport check and send service. I had gone in to ask at the desk a few questions as i was struggling with their form.. when i got seen to (the guy who i seen name was frank.) i felt very unsatisfied and judged, it felt like all he wanted was you to pay him or he aint helping answer a few questions about the form. I had explained i struggled reading it. All they do is look at your form and send it back to you if you make 1 mistake as going through it and not explaining the other mistakes. 16 is a lot of money to be paying just for them to look at it. The attitude and the way he was speaking to me made me feel very upset i tried to explain i cant add additional detail for personal reason and he told me do not show me the form again unless you pay. I just wanted some explanation and guidance it seems to me there is no genuine people nowadays who want to help you all they care about is money. so very angry with this service.
