Clarity Walk CIC

My Dad joined Clariety Walks 6 weeks ago after he was recommended by a health professional . It has changed his life dramatically ! My dad has been a widow for 14 years, but had good neighbours and friends but during Covid he lost his sister dearest friend and long term neighbour for many years . This took its toll on my dads life dramatically he was so isolated apart from seen our selfs which is myself his daughter / son in law and 2 grandsons . I would recommend Clariety walks to anyone off any age .My dad has met a lovely group of friends there he enjoys his walks the companionship . The photos that are posted afterwards of everyone having a natter and home made baking by Phyllis is so comforting for us to know dad has a reason to leave the house once again ! Yesterday the leader of the walk Phyllis texted me to say that the weather was so bad instead of cancelling the walk she took Dad to the botionic gardens where they blethered and had coffee , that is so nice for someone to give up there time to spend time on a one to one basis. I have accompanied Dad on a walk and so has my son and we plan more walks with him with Clariety . I could go on for ever the change this group has made for my dad his mental health , his weight his self esteem ! I recommend CLARITY walks 100 percent .

Clarity Walk is so beneficial to so many local people. No phone nature walks, foraging and kids activities to name a few are great activities to get you outside and clear the mind. Nature as we all know is so therapeutic and being accountable and companionship is key when your feeling a little low. Well Done to Matt and the Team

Clarity Walks create an amazing safe environment; that is super inclusive, fun and friendly. Overall, a supportive organisation with a great team. Plus I got to discover places didn't have the resources or confidence to access before. An added bonus is I got to help clean up the environment whilst meeting new people...

I joined clarity walk a couple months ago to improve my mental health and overall fitness and already I've noticed a massive difference! Lovely locations and everyone's super friendly aswell as the walk leaders! Highly recommend

When I joined Clarity Walks I had no idea how much it would change mine and my families lives. Being a part of it is like being a part of a big family. The group walks for myself have made such a huge difference to my mental health. Being out in nature and away from my phone is absolute freedom. My whole family has benefited from Clarity Walks. My daughter Sarah loves being able to join the walks to support her fitness and mental health. Our Granddaughter Evie loves being a part of Clarity Kids and she has blossomed in confidence under Matts expert guidance. The biggest thing for us as a family is my husband Ken, who has Alzheimers finds great support in Clarity Walks. He attends walks 6 days a week and he majorly benefits from nature and stimulation. I honestly dont know where we would all be without the support we have gained from Matt and our saviour Phyllis Finnie who has built a great bond with Ken and taken him under her wing. If youre thinking about joining, please know that you will be hugely welcomed.
