I asked Mike to help me as I was having some difficulty with my 4 year old German Wire Haired Pointer (Mara) with a whole series of challenging behaviors! Including being aggressive towards me and other dogs. Mike helped me realise the root of many of these issues, and very patiently and professionally advised me on ways to address every single issue. We put the work in, and it gave me huge confidence and a better understanding of Mara - all thanks to Mike's depth of experience and knowledge. He is always there to answer any follow up queries I may have. I cannot rate his services highly enough! 5+*!

My wee Beardie cross, had suddenly decided to become cross.... was snapping and growling at us, jumping on kitchen table at every opportunity not coming away from people or other dogs when whistled. One particular day I decided I had had enough and even thought of rehoming her. I had heard good things about Mike at rewarding dogs so thought I should perhaps go down this route before rehoming as she really was a sweetie.Mike gave me sound advice over a couple of phone calls, I took on board the advice given and we also arranged for him to visits a few weeks later. I had to call Mike this morning and cancel visit because I thought I would be wasting his time.. We have our sweet loving pup back (20 months) and it was just by following Mikes advice and direction. Dont hesitated to give him a call for advice he was easy to talk too and really understood my concerns.

I have known Mike for several years - firstly through his excellent dog training classes and more recently when he has helped us with our two dogs, mother and son, who were acting as a pack and chasing everything, not listening to anything we said and occasionally not returning for several hours. We have had this particular breed for over 30 years and we thought we knew about training them. Obviously not! We had convinced ourselves that they would be on leads for the rest of their lives but with guidance from Mike we are on the way to turning it around. They now listen to us, have excellent recalls and walks are stress free. It's been hard work but worth it all. I would recommend Mike to anyone, not only for those with a major problem but also for those who just want a well behaved dog who is a pleasure to be with.
