A 24 hour service that is NOT 24 !! If you ever come to live in the Highlands of Scotland then you will find out that the Parcelforce service is not what they make it out to be - take no notice of the terms 24 or 48. Shipping anything takes a whole lot longer. For a start, Parcelforce don't even collect or deliver themselves outside of the main towns - that's left to the Post Office. Why, I ask, can't they run a collection/delivery service within a 30 miles radius from Inverness. They do in other equally remote parts of the country ! As a result, parcels take at least an extra day to get from the local mail centre to a Parcelfoce Depot. Then, of course, unlike other couriers, Parcelforce shut down from Friday night until Monday morning (unless you've paid a small fortune for Saturday delivery). I sent a parcel out on Friday morning at 0900 on an Express24 service. It did not reach the Parcelofce local depot until 1034 on Saturday - that's 24 hours gone already!!. It was not delivered until Tuesday afternoon at 1450. So that's their Express 24 Service. It took THREE working days to deliver, so in my book that's a 72 hour service not a 24. We are treated like second class citizens up here. Given how much is now ordered on-line I think it's time Parcelforce upped their game !! Date of experience: 14 April 2023

Brilliant laugh and good service and sorry i scared them a bit because they weren't expecting me to be in or awake for the delivery.
