Nearby activities: There are nice walks in and around Inverkip and with a Marina (Scotland's Premier apparently), a Beach and coastal walks, family or couples can enjoy a relaxing stroll. Cycling is also commonplace and Inverkip's position is ideal for a rest or to go off the beaten track... Walkability: The walking is easy for the most part with a good safe bridge over the busy coastal road to take You to the Marina, beach, restaurant etc. The footbridge is 'very gently sloped', so rather than being accessed by steps, those with ambulatory issues or breathing difficulties can access the coast side with little to no problem. Food & drinks: A hotel is just around the corner from Foresters House and a bar beside it. The staff and locals in the Bar are super friendly and makes for a relaxing atmosphere. Across the footbridge overlooking the Marina is Chartroom Restaurant which boasts near Panoramic views of the Marina and sea from the dining area. The staff are lovely and down to earth, building a good rapport very quickly with customers. The service was great and the atmosphere again like the quality of the food was superb. Great value dining and with more than ample parking in the car park (if You chose to drive) a pleasant time can be had here.
