Quaint little town. Be sure to visit the Natal Garden memorial and seek out a map that lists the various building murals.

Invergordon train station has got distinctive murals depicting images from the Second World War. Specifically: the departure for France of 4th Battalion Seaforth Highlanders, their action at St Valery in 1940 to delay the German advance, and the departure of prisoners to a German POW camp. Amazing. The mural is called "The long goodbye" and it was created with feedback from people from Invergordon who provided their memories and vision of those facts..
