        This is a wonderful castle. If you are looking for a place to stay that is full of its 600 years of history, this is it. Don't look for a modern, updated place. This isn't it. This is a very comfortable, welcoming place with a host with the most. Robbie is so friendly and will be more than happy to show you around his home. We opted for the additional, full Scottish breakfast and it definitely didn't disappoint. If we're ever back in the area, you can bet we'll be staying there again.

        Had a lovely stay at Hallgreen castle. Robbie was delighted to show us around in de castle and tell so much about its historie. Loved the bed and the matrass and had the best sleep of all accommodations during our Scotland trip. Much choice for breakfast, for parking space, close to the beach. Dont expect a clean chain hotel-experience, but dive into the real castle-deal!

        Stayed at the castle for one night as I was up on business. Couldn't have been happier; lovely castle and Robbie is a true gentleman and a great host. My room was beautiful and lovely and warm. If you're in the area, you need to give them a call, you'll be glad you did.
