        Nice setting with really friendly staff. We had a couple of issues with the room. The central heating wasn't working. The room was quite cold at night. We didn't mention this to staff at the time as we got back to the room later at night. It was great having a jacuzzi in the room but I struggled to get the shower to heat up properly. It was just warm and the conditioner in the shower was empty. It was quite frustrating that if you got up during the night and went into the bathroom for any reason then the extractor fan kept running for about 15 minutes whether it's needed or not. This should be optional as it's quite noisy during the night. Much of the furniture in the room was very chipped and dated. Nice big comfy bed. There's no notice of the WiFi password in the room which would be handy. The breakfast was ok. Nice choices on the menu but some of the Scottish breakfast items (black pudding, haggis etc) were a bit average - like something from the supermarket.

        We visit this hotel at least 10 times a year. The food is always great quality and arrive is really good. Dogs are also allowed which is great for us. If your local and want a decent meal or drink I highly recommend this place.
