Its more a bed & breakfast then a hotel, it has a new owner that is trying really hard to renovate and keep the place in better shape. The rooms are ok, bed is comfortable but the setting is more like a 2 stars. All the staff are amazing they will go out of their way to help and make you welcome, and the bar attached to the hotel Cheers is almost like the infamous cheers bars with the local and everyone is welcome and had a great selection of alcohol. They have a very nice traditional breakfast but only if you make it on time, the last day of my stay there was no meats left so got two eggs and toast Thank you for making my stay welcome
