This is by far the biggest of the flankers that i have come across! The flankers are as tall as me or taller and the actual circle sadly no longer exsists which is a real shame. There are some standing stones in the remaining circle but it is far from a complete circle but the original lay out is pretty massive. It must have been really something because the recumbant is in my experience, massive. It must have been some effort to move this beast of a stone. Difficult to find and get to, access not great but worth the struggle if you are reasonably fit because as i say, biggest recumbant yet. Well worth the trouble.

Beautiful peaceful place. **Park at the north end of row of old beech trees and follow the pathway back through them to the stones. No fences, plenty of parking, amazing views.
