Beautiful looking restaurant so I had high hopes for our meal, but we left disappointed. Sat outside in the sun which was fantastic. We asked for latte but the machine wasn't working so was offered complentanry black coffee. Starter was amazing and so tasty (goats cheese mouse with pear and was enough for 2 people). We waited over 45 minutes and then I asked a member of staff were out main courses ready. They were brought out soon after and the waitress apologised for our wait. The steak pie was cooked well, but the mash was very cold. Vegetarian curry was nice. Portions were good. Because we had waited so long for our main we asked for our desert to be brought out straight away. It was supposed to be a Pavlova with Drambuie whisked through the cream; no whisky found at all. Husband went inside to ask for the bill and the waiter said he would come to our table, but no one came, so he asked another waitress for the bill who replied "sorry I'm on my break" and walked away. Eventually another waitress gave us our bill and took my husband's meal off the total cost, which was appreciated; but we won't be going back in a hurry.
