It's a big stone monument alright. But seriously, this is a lovely short walk from a number of nearby carparks. We'd parked by the pillars of Hercules farm shop and with a 3 year old it was an hour up and maybe 40 mins back downhill. Lovely views up at the hill all around you and a great spot for a wee picnic on a good day. Well worth a nice relaxing wander up. There's a lot of other trails around here too that you can link in to longer walk if you fancy it.

A lovely forest trail up to the monument where we sat and had a cuppa. Beautiful views and so peaceful. Also a very special bench up there to sit on and enjoy the surroundings.
