I have experienced Marie's shiatsu sessions for almost 20 years for various issues - sports injuries, pregnancy, general health and well-being, and self-care. Marie is a highly skilled, professional mind-body therapist with an aptitude for understanding my body's particular needs for each and every session - even when I don't know these myself! Marie's treatment room is an immaculate, calming space. Her holistic approach - treating not only the site of pain but also the underlying condition - has never failed to ease my pain or worries. I always feel more balanced and at ease with myself afterwards, and never sleep better than on the same day as an appointment! Marie has sometimes recommended supplementary ideas to me (such as changes in nutrition or specific Qigong movements) to help between appointments as well. A Shiatsu teacher, Marie is also continually learning herself, matching what Shiatsu practitioners have been doing with increasing medical evidence of the benefits - science is only now beginning to catch up.
