Nice trail, pretty easy to navigate. The woodland trails are awesome, the road track is ok.

Down through the ages many have expressed their opinions about Scotland but once experienced Scotland can be never forgotten. This is exactly what I have experienced when I was following the South Loch Ness trail.

Parking for about 6 cars at the roadside, start of the trail, this is a lovely walk or cycle all the way to Fort Augustus. Would be much nicer if dog owners would not chuck poop bags into the branches of trees or into the bushes. What is wrong with people?
