Well made, not too hot, cappuccino, using their own special blend from Inverness Coffee Roastery, unique to the Highlands. Black Isle Ice Creams and local sweet treats. Seating inside & out (in good weather). Delightful find. Will be back. Staff are friendly, often find me playing with watercolors there.

Stopped here today so that my wife could take part in an on-line meeting, so very glad I did. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, great selection of delicious cakes, tasty bacon sandwich and really great coffee (their own blend from Inverness Coffee Roasting company). This is going to become a regular stop off from now on and is well worth the short diversion from the main road. Wholeheartedly recommended Wheelchair accessibility: Level access and a spacious disabled toilet

I have been a few times as its very close by but have been disappointed by the baked goods. Theyre extremely overpriced for the quality and Ive been given clearly stale items multiple times. Once it was an almond croissant all of which pretty much shattered when I bit into it- it was so dry. I was in again today and ordered a vegan sausage roll. I had to discreetly spit it out after the first bite because the sausage filling tasted like it had gone off a long long time ago and even smelled awful. Now Im not bashing this sausage roll because its vegan- I have had many good vegan sausage rolls and even have had theirs in the past and thought it was alright, but this time it was different and there was clearly something very very wrong with it. I didnt want to make a fuss and thought Id mention that they check the batch when they came back to take away my plate but they never did and I was working there for over an hour and there were only two other tables occupied. Im sorry for having to leave a bad review in these challenging times as the servers are all very friendly but Ive given this cafe many chances and today will be the last. Go a bit further into tornagrain to the hillhead cafe instead.
