We booked a 7 night stay at Braes Lodge for June 2022. We received lots of information before arrival, in particular the digital handbook which was excellent and contained everything you needed to know about the lodge for before arrival, during your stay and departure information. We arrived just after check in time and Mandy came round to introduce herself soon after and show us around the lodge. The lodge really exceeded our expectations and was absolutely beautiful with the most amazing views and all the equipment you would need for your stay. We loved the welcome hamper which contained quality local produce including local bakery shortbread, oatcakes and the most divine chocolate along with other quality goods which we have yet to try. The lodge emits quality from the super comfy huge bed and the White Company Egyptian cotton bedding and luxurious towels. Mandy really has thought of everything for the lodge and you will want for nothing. We have never before had a lodge with a hot tub let alone a sauna. Just perfect after a days hiking in the beautiful countryside. We had a real lazy chillout week and didnt venture out much (apart from local walks) as we were so comfortable in Braes Lodge. We took all our food and drink and needed for nothing. The weather was kind to us at the start, so much so we actually got sunburned so had to keep out of the sun for a couple of days. Absolutely loved the walk down to Braes Foss of in the beautiful sunshine. We will never forget the wonderful view from the dining table which we experienced at breakfast, lunch and dinner and it changed every day (the view that is) and we loved the evening walks up to the Lime Kiln which also has spectacular views. We can honestly say this is the best self-catering accommodation we have stayed in and have returned home fully recharged with most amazing memories of a wonderful week. Thank you, Mandy, for your first class hospitality and lovely chats we had with you. You create an absolutely fantastic experience for your guests and for sure we will definitely want to return to Braes Lodge in the not too distant future.

Braes lodge is special! Arriving to the lit stove and the most beautiful scent set the scene to what turned out to be the most relaxing and enjoyable 3 days. Mandy and Ian have thought of everything from all the small details and the tasteful furnishings that make the lodge just perfect to the option of hiring the Morgan. How better to explore the beautiful Perthshire Highlands than in a cute little sports car! It was a break to remember and I cant wait to return there.
