Never had any problems using the PO and get a good service at the counter.

What a shame that such a lovely part of the world is let down by the lack of a decent local convenience store. The owners would do well to consider packing up and letting someone else have a go. In addition to my wife and I finding a poor selection of items, rude staff, and a barely functioning Post Office (it's only open a couple hours per day, at best), there seems to be no desire to provide locals or visitors with anything resembling a convenience store or good customer service. One to avoid, if you can.

The red-nosed old woman working in the post office area of this shop needs a lesson in customer service. I politely asked her if the shop did cash back as the Post Office was closed and is only open 2 hour each morning. She was pleased to say no and that I should go to a bank (some 40 miles round trip away). She was a right misery guts who quite frankly looks at her customers as though they have just landed from Mars.

Visited shop on the 5th June 2020.found the staff very friendly and helpful. I needed some plastic utensils. Unfortunately they were out of stock. But the staff came up with a solution. They even have a dog drinking bowl, (outside the shop). Which my dog gratefully used.
