        Nearby activities: There are good walks along the river in either direction to Pitlochry or to Killiecrankie - the site of a battle in 1689. Pitlochry is worth visiting with a variety of eating out places and tourist shops. Killiecrankie has a visitors' centre. For the adventurous, there is bungee jumping near the site - if you are prepared to jump off a parapet.
