Great shopping experience, was looking for a new gilet and the staff were very helpful in looking for the right size for me and recommending brands. Some great niche outdoor/hunting brands, prices range from moderate to expensive but you get you pay for!

The location has some of the most stunning scenery truly beautiful and its a lovely drive from Angus. The site is well sign posted in terms of what is where theres a clan museum a whisky shop, the restaurant/ bakery, garden shop and farmers market outside, large comprehensive food hall with on site butcher (people who are sensitive to that may want to avoid that area), gallery, huge clothing areas (men/ womens/ kids/ hunting/ sports/ gifts), home wear etc. I couldnt see lift access signposted anywhere so I cant comment on how accessible the place is for wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility, washroom facilities very clean and easy to access with baby changing access. The food hall only seemed to have baskets which was slightly annoying with having reduced mobility right now it was difficult the baskets on wheels wouldve been so much easier to use. Every member of staff we encountered was very friendly and knowledgeable. But the star of the show is undoubtedly the fish and chip shop. Huge portions, lovely light crispy batter that allowed the fish to be wonderfully cooked so it was flaky and piping hot. The chips werent greasy and just the right amount of salt& vinegar. Would absolutely drive 45mins just for fish and chips from here again well worth it. Judging by all the ice cream we saw being sold I think to say thats also a winner but it started to rain so thats for another day. It would be amiss of me however if I didnt mention however during a cost of living crisis that some of the brands stocked here higher end and therefore the price reflects this. But there is a balance of goods and we werent disappointed and felt awkward I would say thats because the staff were friendly. Great day out would visit again.
