We stayed in one of the guest rooms at the Dundonald for 4 days and what a beautiful place! We loved how Laura decorated every room, her attention to detail was so considered and we loved everything from the cups we drunk our morning coffee out of, to the art on the walls and beautiful coffee table books. The room had an amazing view out to the Forth, the bed was really comfy and the mini bar well stocked with amazing wine and of course Tunnocks! Laura and her family were perfect hosts, we had lovely chats at breakfast and she couldn't be more helpful recommending things to do and places to eat in the area (we went to the Anstruther Fish Bar about an hour away, the best I've ever had and absolutely worth the wait!). The breakfast was absolutely delicious (Laura's granola was something else!) and it really set us up for the day. You can sense that Laura has put a lot of love and care in the place, and it's really obvious as soon as you walk in... A really lovely and memorable stay and we would definitely go back!

We stayed for four days in the Cottage and had a wonderful break. Driving along the narrow, cobbled streets to get to the cottage was an exciting way to arrive, but there is an easy access parking space directly opposite the cottage - this is really helpful in a small village with narrow streets! The Cottage itself is immaculate and has everything you could need to relax. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms very comfortable, and our youngest son loved the sofa bed upstairs in the study instead of sharing a room with his brother! The showers are fabulous and come stocked with shampoo, conditioner, etc. But the best bit about the stay was the luscious breakfast delivered to the back door by Laura every morning! So much wonderful food - local eggs, fresh milk, freshly squeezed orange juice, croissants, fresh bread, butter, jam, yogurt, granola, fruit, and one day we had the most wonderful brie! Laura definitely spoils you at breakfast time - in fact on one day we took some of the breakfast basket which we hadn't managed to finish out with us for a packed lunch! Just amazing!
