Great little hotel in an ideal location for visiting Hill House. Easy reach of Helensburgh restaurants later on. A comfy room and a great vegetarian breakfast. Food & drinks: Great vegetarian breakfast

Worse place Ive stayed. How anyone can give it 5/5. Paid over 80 for 1 night - room was very small, towels were grey and bedding was old and full of bobbles. The smell of fabreze/ or the cleaning you could taste at the back of your throat. It was too far to walk to get something to eat from the centre on a cold winters night, so you had to drive. Breakfast was ok - but yes no mention before we booked that it was vegetarian and the pancakes were shop bought as others have said.

They didn't tell you till you check in that it is a vegetarian breakfast it wasn't warm and not tasty they also showed photos off the restaurant it wasn't opened to the guests the family was using it. The rooms where clean the bathrooms was new there wasn't a table to sit and eat your breakfast you had to eat it in your room.
