Clyde View Dental Practice

First time looking to use Clyde View as states in Website NHS & Private welcome, so as on holiday and offered to pay as tooth very sore, I received a very short but no reason why they couldn't do it, the reply I got was "Hi Louise, thanks for getting in touch with the practice. Unfortunately, this isn't something we would be able to help with at the moment. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Is it because their too busy or anything but no just a standard reply, very disappointed and will go elsewhere.

Pointless calling them. I live in newcastle so have no dentist here in Helensburgh. I have been in pain, losing sleep and unable to eat due to a dental issue. I called requesting an emergency appointment this morning to which I was told call NHS 111 and go to Glasgow.. fair enough. I was then told if your paying privately we could maybe fit you in, or one of the dentist in Helensburgh could. If not private I would have to go to Glasgow through the NHS. I would like to point out I would have been paying privately however I found the comment to be very rude to be honest. I will be taking my custom else where as the attitude to take money rather than actually help is not appreciated. Very poor presentation of this business by the lady that answered then phone.

My family and I have been happily going to this dentist for years until Covid-19. Since then we have been on a waiting list to be seen (so over 2 years now) and from what we can gather they are only seeing private patients or dental emergencies. The main problem is the communication - if they were to reach out more and tell us what the situation is, at least wed be in the loop, but after being loyal customers for over a decade weve basically been abandoned and it looks like were going to have to switch dentists.

I had my teeth air polished and am really impressed by the results. Lara is great; professional and friendly. She didn't recommend having my teeth whitened because of problems with sensitivity, but thought I would do well with the (cheaper) alternative.
