Cameron North Lodge

Positives: - Beautiful setting and location - Lovely open plan living/dining room - Free Access to the facilities at Cameron House hotel. - Discounts for golf and spa at Cameron house. - Lots of toys and play stuff for children. Negatives: - This property does not have enough hot water for the number of guests it sleeps. We were 6 adults and 2 toddlers and after 2.5- 3 showers in the morning the hot water had emptied. Having complained it was communicated this property is run on an electric system. It did cause us significant issues with not being able to run a hot bath for small children, wash up with hot water or all get hot showers prior to leaving the house. There is an electric shower which is provided as a back up, however the temperature of the water fluctuates between hot and cold and isnt particularly powerful. If you are a larger group be aware of this. It was such a shame as the property and location was lovely but given we went in winter, constant hot water was a must!

We have stayed at the lodge a few times and and cannot fault it. Luxurious standard of finish, outstanding location and everything anyone could need as a home from home. And the hot tub - wow! We found everything very easy to use and the welcome book the owners provide is excellent. I would highly recommend the lodge to anyone and everyone, it caters for all needs and will exceed your expectations.

A fabulous location for a weekend away....literally on the banks of Loch Lomond, the location is just amazing! The lodge has everything you could possibly want for a weekend away. We loved the hot tub which was a huge bonus and treat! Sitting on the Lochside in hot tub with a glass of fizz...life doesnt get much better than that! The owner has clearly paid a lot of attention to detail to make the lodge as comfortable and as hospitable as possible. Cannot wait for our next visit!
