Rooms: Spacious with high ceilings, plenty of places to put the ridiculous amount of scatter cushions. Food & drinks: Can't fault this as good selection of well made meals, staff happy to accommodate reasonable requests.

My partner and I went here for a meal on a Saturday evening. We arrived early to have a couple of drinks pre meal. We're were met by an extremely pleasant gentleman who took us through the the bar. The bar had beautiful decor and a vast choice of wine,beers and spirits. Zoe was over to get our drinks order a very attentive and nice young lady. My partner had a bottle of wine where I opted for a Morretti. We sat for a chatting in bar nice atmosphere. The staff were always available but very inobtrusive. When our table was ready were shown to the dining room by a polite young man. The dining room was bright,spacious and tastefully decorated Now to the food I had the haggis which was delicious in a crispy batter nice rocket underneath. My partner had fish goujons 2 well cooked in a perfect batter (Kinds jealous). For the main I chose scampi what a plateful loads of chips,scampi and veg, the tartre sauce was nice and sharp to compliment my dish. My partner had the chicken in a tomato sauce with roast potatoes. The chicken was miost and tangy rich tomato sauce. We both thoroughly enjoyed every bite of the meal. There was a good choice of sweets but we were both full after the first 2 courses. We went back to the bar to finish our drinks at let our meal settle. This was an awesome night out beautiful surroundings,atmosphere and food. The staff are very good always there but in the background I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this place Needless to say we will definitely return
