Absolutely beautiful, shamefully it was my first ever visit to Scotland, what better place to stay , relaxed by the river surrounded by beauty! Thank you we shall return ..

Peaceful, tucked away little farm campsite alongside a pretty little brook. Very casual and low-key setup. Ablution facilities are basic: outside tap at one end of the site, and two fairly intimate long drop toilets in a single crudely converted wooden horse trailer at the other end of the site. Sheep and other farm animals roam the site which might be an issue if you have excitable doggos like ours. No rubbish bins anywhere on the site. The tranquility of the setting is lovely, but I do understand where some other reviews are coming from when they've said they'd rather wild camp than spend 10 a head for what's provided.

Schner Ort. Wir fanden es Toll zwischen den Tieren zu sein. Die Toiletten sind etwas weit wag und wirklich schlicht. (Translated by Google) Nice place. We loved being among the animals. The toilets are a bit far wag and really simple.

Lovely place, very basic back to nature stuff, helpful owners, fire pits and tables at every pitch, thanks rue de chateau
