Terrible standard of build from these cowboys. Don't even know where to begin! For an estate of 80 odd houses, we have a Facebook group with most of the residents and every single one has issues with condensation, poor insulation and numerous houses with one side of the home freezing! Bellway pretend to care up to the end of year 1 but provide lip service. Care even less in the second year. Now that we are past our second year they have washed their hands of us and told us to deal with NHBC as they have done all they need to. Seems they will always blame the customer, and of course when almost every home on the estate has the same issue the common denominator is the customer!!! Alarm bells ringing when we were informed that all joiners on site were sacked for corner cutting (and so we are surprised to find issues why??), and don't get me started on the 500 additional cost to have your homes painted white instead of magnolia in the 21st century (only to be told by a site painter that they carry no magnolia as they just paint it white as no customer will want magnolia and if they do they get it then specifically for that job). So the take home message here is, sub-standard build, blame all the customers for identical issues in each home, refuse to accept any blame or responsibility and eventually they will hang on until year 2 is done and pass you on. Save your hard earned cash and buy a better standard of property like a garden shed or a shanty town shack. Just don't get conned by Bellway.
