        Generally very poor customer service. Long waits in queues. Staff don't really stick to Covid protocols. Looks like BOS are running this branch down.

        I have been a good customer at the branch for many years. I wanted to exchange 2x 20 notes for 8x 5 notes, to be told by the 'greeter' that this could not be done. She was unable to give a valid reason. Incredulous, I went a few yards along the road to RBoS, where I have never had an account. There, I explained the situation to their greeter who said "Certainly sir." and directed me towards a teller. A trivial incident but it displayed a very disappointing poor attitude to a customer, in stark contrast to a rival bank. HBoS, you need to get your act together if you want to keep your customers.
