    Nice old church, with some lovely old grave stones, It is also the birth place of the saltire flag ,would have been good to see the inside of the buildings but both closed. Worth a wee look

    Although we never got access the church it was poingent walking around the churchyard contemplating the people here who were the backbone of Athelstaneford. We also visited the converted dovecot to watch the video of the birth of Scotland and Europe's oldest flag - the Saltire
