Barchester - Balclutha Court Care Home

I recently started visiting for a chat & a cuppa which has restarted after Covid and it has been such a lovely experience. All of the staff have been so friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door is amazing - I can see they care so much for the residents I can see how happy the residents are and I can see and have spoken to the lovely activities coordinator Kay who showed me all the fantastic things that are available to the residents. Alison who is the manager welcomed and embraced me and this was so lovely and I appreciate that so much :) Ann thank you for being so friendly and welcoming :) I have absolutely loved visiting and look forward to visiting again

My friend is in Balclutha Court and loves staying there. The staff are all so friendly and caring and there is always something going on - a true home from home. You are always made to feel so welcome.

I have visited the home on a number of occasions, I have always found the staff to be warm and friendly. There is always lots of activities going on in the home. You are always offered a cup of tea and made to feel so welcome. I would highly recommend this home

Worked there as an agency member of staff recently. Could not find fault in their care of the clients. This is how every nursing home should be. This was my first time there and everyone made me feel very welcome .
