Gillens Coaches. My mother who is a pensioner experienced awful verbal abuse from one of the bus drivers recently. She was stopped at a "bus stop" for just seconds which had no signage whatsoever in an area she didn't know well. The driver was blasting the horn and throwing her hands about before then getting off the bus to scream at my mum in the middle of the street infront of her grandson and other people whilst she was quickly trying to get her grandson in the car seat and drive away. My mum who suffers from anxirty was very upset and flustered. I contacted the bus company and the manager said he would call me back after speaking with the driver but I never heard anything. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and called again leaving a message but once again, there has been no response. I fear for the passengers and other road users with a bus driver like that on the road with such severe road rage. Not only that, it was a school bus so I can't imagine how parents would feel to know someone like that is driving the bus with their children in it.

I used to travel with Pride Of The Clyde Coaches to and from school back in 2008-2011 was great fun getting a variety of different types of buses everyday. the only thing I didn't like was when the not so nice drivers used to complain at the school kids for standing up or nailing on the seats or jumping on the seats. I could never understand why they couldn't just leave the school kids alone as some of the kids dont like school and have bad days and weeks. As far as I am concerned If drivers can't cope with school kids doing that they shouldn't be working for the company because when they apply for thses types of jobs it should be in there jobs description and works contract. The 3 best bus drivers that I had going to and from school no longer work for Pride of The Clyde they where Paul Mcgachy, Kevin Hughes and Drew Mcculloch. Used to have a fantastic laugh with all the school kids.
