We were starting the NC500 so this was our first stop . We were met at the door by Stu who had us laughing within minutes ! The warmest welcome and the best banter we knew we were in for a treat ! The house is just glorious , attention to detail is second to none and the many added touches were just way above and beyond Stu explained we could use crockery and cutlery in the dining room if we wished to bring a takeaway back and they would clear it away , they said to use the lounge to sit and have drinks and help yourself to glasses . All the communal spaces were stunning The bedroom was so warm and welcoming , beautifully furnished and decorated, again all the extra little touches made this B&B stand out from every other one we stayed in by a country mile ! Fluffy dressing gowns , chocolate, fresh milk in the fridge , sleep spray next to the bed . I could go on and on ! We had a wonderful nights sleep and headed down for breakfast . Stu had been joined by James and it was then just double the fun !!! They are the funniest warmest people and I wanted to be best friends with them for ever The breakfast was just so fresh and prepared with such care , just delightful I did not want to leave ! We stayed in places on our NC500 trip that were twice the price of FIrhall and did not get anywhere close to matching the quality , care , enjoyment and absolute perfection that this place offered . James and Stu you are such a brilliant team and we cant wait to come and stay again

Rooms: Absolutely loved the large, comfy bed Food & drinks: Lunch and dinner are fairly plentiful in the town, but do set your gourmet expectations low and you will be fine

(Translated by Google) We stayed at Firhall Highland B&B for two nights in August 2022. The location of the B&B in a side street with little traffic is quiet. Parking in the courtyard in front of the house makes arrival easy. James & Stuart run a wonderful B&B. Clean and very well maintained. Upon entering, you felt like you were in a manor house. The breakfast was excellent. Both the English porridge and the porridge with fresh blueberries, which is often mentioned here in the reviews, are delicious. Our "Skye" room was a bit small, but still perfectly adequate. The en-suite bathroom had a basin with a single lever mixer tap which is still not common in Britain. Adjusting the electric water heater for the shower was tricky, but there was a powerful jet. In the fireplace room on the ground floor you can relax in the evening with a drink or two on the sofa and read or watch TV. Overall we really enjoyed staying at Firhall Highland B&B and would highly recommend it. (Original) Wir waren im August 2022 fr zwei Nchte im Firhall Highland B&B. Die Lage des B&B in einer verkehrsarmen Seitenstrae ist ruhig. Parken im Hof vor dem Haus macht die Anreise einfach. James & Stuart fhren ein wunderbares B&B. Sauber und sehr gepflegt. Man fhlte sich beim Eintreten wie in einem Herrschaftshaus. Das Frhstck war hervorragend. Sowohl das Englische, wie auch das hier in den Rezensionen schon oft erwhnte Porridge, mit ganz frischen Heidelbeeren sind lecker. Unser "Skye" Zimmer war zwar etwas klein, aber trotzdem vllig ausreichend. Das En-Suite Bad hatte ein Waschbecken mit Einhand-Mischbatterie was in Britannien immer noch nicht selbstverstndlich ist. Die Einstellung der elektrischen Warmwasseraufbereitung zur Dusche war diffizil, aber es kam ein krftiger Strahl. Im Kaminzimmer im Erdgeschoss kann man es sich am Abend bei einem Drink, oder auch zwei, auf dem Sofa gemtlich machen und lesen oder fernsehen. Insgesamt hat es und im Firhall Highland B&B sehr gefallen und knnen es sehr empfehlen.
