Skylark's Rest Holiday Let

I really enjoyed my stay at this pleasant, comfortable and well equipped property. Skylark's Rest is in a charming and convenient location 5 mins walk from Gourdon harbour with great fish restaurant/takeaway and pub. Local shop also close by. Especially clear guide covering property itself, local facilities and places of interest. Lovely coastal walk or cycle to Inverbervie or Johnshaven.. I cycled to both. Montrose and Stonehaven are each only around 20 minutes by car and have good shops and restaurants. Skylark's Rest is an excellent base for exploring Aberdeenshire and Angus or just relaxing. Highly recommended.

we have stayed at the Skylarks Rest with our dogs and intend to go again this year. We found the accomodation clean, smart and very welcoming. The facilities within the cottage are very good. The walks along the coast are just great and the dogs loved it. The harbour is a working harbour and full of interest. There is fresh food available both in the hotel at the harbour and in the very good seafood restaurant . Gourdon is a great place to chill out or to form a base for exploring the villages and countryside surrounding. Parking right outside the front door was always available and the street was so quiet overnight. I look forward to spending some more time at Skylarks Rest
