The Ben Bhraggie Hotel

Really friendly staff, we visited twice in our week-long holiday. Once for Sunday lunch and for a meal the following Friday evening. The Sunday lunch was a nice, cheap and cheerful meal and much enjoyed. The Friday night, although the food was slow to arrive, was excellent and well worth the wait. Friday was busy, with a great atmosphere in the pub even out of season and we were really happy with the fact that the place was dog friendly throughout and that the staff were so good with our GSD.

* Edited to add that Bruce the manager has been in touch, provided a sincere apology for this experience and assured me they have now made changes to ensure this doesnt happen in the future. They have also offered us to return to see the changes put in place. * Came here for lunch, trying to give MacGregors another chance after a very disappointing visit to their restaurant in Inverness. Made the reservation over the phone. Turned up to find out yet again no chef on so limited menu (similar issue to Inverness!). This was a SATURDAY afternoon! Limited menu because of this. My wife is Gluten feee and made this clear to the waitress. BBQ chicken labelled as GF on the menu. Food came, my wife just checked as the chicken was breaded. Turns out it DOES contain gluten. Waited 20 minutes more for non gluten chicken to come and gave up. Yet another disaster and very annoyed. Twice MacGregors have almost made my wife ill.
