Got 4 alloy wheels refurbished here a while ago for 200. At first glance the job seemed well done, unfortunately when the car went in to my local mechanic a few months later to get new tyres they found the wheel studs had been overtightened and cross threaded. It appears Wheel Restore It created a step on the wheel at the powder coating stage and had to use the studs to force the wheel back on. Cost me a new hub and 4 studs adding an additional 300. A job that cost 200 in the end cost me 500. Would never use again or recommend to anyone.

I got a quote a couple of months ago for two wheels to be refurbished I phoned back later to organise a date for them to be done. I was asked to come between 8 and 8.30 and he didn't turn up till 8.40. which was my first concern. I left car and three hours later he phoned to say he couldn't remove the wheels as valves were corroded. I picked up car and was told he had ordered parts at a cost of 7 pounds each. I must admit I was concerned at this point he wasn't going to do anything about the parts because before I left I said "you have my number to let me know when you have parts" but he didn't respond I phoned back a week later and left a message to ask if he had managed to get parts. As I received no reply I went to see him in person. Every time I had visited before as we were outside no masks were worn however on that day as soon as he saw it was me he jumped back inside unit and said "stay away from me I'm self isolating". I would like to confirm I never ever at any time ventured into the unit . He said he didn't have parts and I said I thought you would disappoint me when I spoke to you last week and he threw something on the ground and walked away saying "well its bowel cancer". My husband died off bowel cancer recently and never ever did he treat anyone like that. Totally unprofessional!! you never ever discuss personal issues with customers. I would never recommend anyone give him any business if this is how he treats customers. A bad experience a 71 years old woman would never like to repeat.
