We have had experience of working with Sips Eco Panels as both an Architect and Client, on our own house roof extension. We highly recommend this company, firstly from an Architectural aspect, as they are easy to deal with during the design development process and always willing to clarify queries. Their technical team are fantastic to work with as they assisted us in a not so standard design, which turned out exactly as shown on our drawings! The experience we had on site, as a Architect and Client was also exceptional. The reason SIPS were specified on our urban site in London, was to minimise time on site and also the site had very restricted access, and the use of SIPS panels was favoured. The site was very difficult to work on but their design team and installers did an amazing job. The most difficult jobs and tightest sites are definitely the most rewarding, once built!!! We have since specified Sips Eco Panels on schemes which are currently in Planning, and we sincerely hope to work with them again. If you are considering using this company, think no more and get in touch with them. Architects are probably one of the most difficult Clients to please, and we are very happy.

I used this company to supply my new extension. When the drawings were signed off, they provided me with a window schedule and confirmed that I could order windows so as not to have a 12 week wait to be water tight after the structure was erected. On installation of the windows, it turned out that one of the (very large) windows was too large for the opening so I had to spend 2500 on a replacement, and was unable to get a refund on the original as it had already been made. I have to say that the customer care provided by Sips at this point was non-existent, they refused to accept responsibility, saying that I had signed off the drawings, even though they had provided me with confirmed window measurements. They made a derisory offer of 500 which they withdrew when I refused to accept it. They have not engaged in any contact with me since then. My advice would be if you are a self-builder like me, is not to trust them and employ a separate engineer to check all their drawings, at your cost. Not something that should be necessary when you pay for a design service such as they provide surely the windows should fit I am absolutely disgusted with the way I have been treated and would advise anyone else to go elsewhere or please tread very carefully if you choose to do business with this company, they were great in the early stages but god help you if anything goes wrong once you have paid them all the money. VERY DISSAPOINTING
